No Tricks, Just Treats!

Jefferson Healthcare Center hosted another successful Trunk-or-Treat this year alongside our hardworking sister facilities, Carington Park, Saybrook Landing and Pine grove Healthcare Center. We are always so joyous to bring our community together for a fun evening of boos, laughs and, most importantly, candy!



Last year went over so well that we weren't sure if we were going to top it with around 400 kids. But this year, we're excited to say that we had over 1000 kids! We were blown away by the response and participation of our friends and families. They outdid themselves with the decked-out costumes, trunks and spook-tacular energy!

This year, we were excited to introduce a new feature to our event. Our staff put together a haunted trail and a spooky haunted house that led to the back parking lot where all the best-decorated trunks in town were waiting with tons of candy. Our residents also participated by lining up to pass out candy and greeting all the kids dressed in costumes. The balloon artist and DJ were a great touch and were loved by everyone. We also had Bomb Dogs and Twizted Eggroll food trucks as a yummy dinner option for everyone. The food was absolutely delicious!



We are so happy to do this every year for our community and can't wait to start planning for next year! Thank you to everyone who worked so hard in making this event a success. Another big thank you goes to our friends and families for making it a special Halloween for our residents.
