Celebrating Physical Therapy Month

To celebrate Physical Therapy Month, we want to recognize our incredible Physical Therapy Department: Andrew Showalter PTA, Tiffany Hughes PT, Evan Wolfe PTA.

Tiffany grew up in Mentor, Ohio, then moved to Columbus and graduated from Ohio State University in 1999 as a Physical Therapist (PT). She then moved back to Thompson, Ohio, where she currently resides with her husband, two children, and a plethora of animals. When asked what her favorite part of being a Therapist is, she said,
“Working with residents and helping them return back to their prior level of function.”
Andrew grew up in Kingsville, Ohio, and graduated from Kent State University in 2013 as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). He started as the Rehab Director at our sister facility, Pine Grove, then transferred to Jefferson Healthcare in 2019. He currently lives in Jefferson, Ohio, with his wife, three children and three dogs. He enjoys following the Cleveland Guardians as well as any other sport that is in season. His favorite thing about working here at Jefferson Healthcare Center is,
“the bond you develop not only with the residents but also with the other Therapists and staff.”
Evan grew up in Conneaut, Ohio, and graduated from Kent State University in 2017 as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). He enjoys golfing in his free time and following a multitude of other sports. He currently lives in North Kingsville, Ohio, with his wife and two dogs. When asked what his favorite thing about his job is, he shared,
“My favorite part about my job is seeing the positive impact we have on our residents. Also, I enjoy mine and Andrew’s daily ping pong matches at lunch.”
Our Physical Therapy Team does so much for our residents here at Jefferson Healthcare. They continue to provide the highest level of care and excellence to our residents, and we couldn't thank them enough! Thank you to Evan, Andrew and Tiffany. You make a difference every day!
