Welcoming Our New Social Services Designee

Jefferson Healthcare Center is excited to welcome Nicole Goodenow to Jefferson Healthcare as our new Social Services Designee! Our skilled nursing facility is committed to expanding our team with individuals with a true passion for long-term care. Individuals who prioritize our residents' needs by making sure they're safe, comfortable, and, most importantly, feel cared for.

Meet Nicole:

"I am a wife and mother of three young men. I am from South Carolina and have been an Ohio resident for just over ten years. I attended Kent State Ashtabula for my associate degree and will be attending again soon to obtain my LSW. In my off time, I am typically at sporting events for my children. I also love nature and photography.

Becoming a Social Worker is something I felt a calling for, as I have always wanted to be able to make a difference in others' lives. I love learning about others and helping them find ways to overcome the challenges they are going through. Being a social worker, I know I can do this in a caring and supportive way. I also see it as an opportunity to improve the lives of society's most vulnerable people by being a voice for them and helping them to build a great life for themselves and/or their families."
